Born in Melbourne Australia in 1955, Potts studied Graphic Design
at The Prahran Institute of Technology, Melbourne, in the early 70’s.
The crispness and clarity of Pott’s work reflects over twenty years experience in Graphic design and illustration. He has worked for a variety of graphic and media organizations as well as freelance, producing a wide range of designs from corporate logos through to fabric design and book
illustration, both here and overseas.
Since moving to Byron Bay the most easterly cape of the Australia in 1993 Potts has continued to work as a graphic artist, painter and sculptor. In 2002 Potts finished his Advanced Diploma of Fine Art. His current work is sea and landscapes painted on found timber. His main inspiration is the beach, the ocean and surf culture.
Pott’s work can be seen in several galleries along the eastern coast of Australia and has been collected in the US, UK, Europe & Hong Kong.
He accepts personal commissions & ships paintings all over the world.
